Mon Mar 17 22:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Trump to Release Remaining JFK Assassination Documents

**Washington, D.C. –** President Donald Trump announced Monday that all remaining documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy will be released on Tuesday. Speaking at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, Trump stated that he had instructed his Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard, to make the full release possible. This follows an executive order signed in January calling for the declassification of the files, which have been partially withheld for decades due to national security concerns.

While the President offered no specifics on the content of the newly released documents, he indicated a significant volume of material would be made public, stating, “We have a tremendous amount of paper, you’ve got a lot of reading.” He also asserted that no redactions would be made.

The release addresses long-standing public interest and fuels ongoing conspiracy theories surrounding the 1963 assassination. Although the Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, the slow release of documents has sustained speculation about a broader conspiracy. While tens of thousands of documents have been previously released, thousands remained classified until now. The upcoming release includes documents related to the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. as well.
