Mon Mar 17 22:38:11 UTC 2025: ## Trump Announces Full Release of Remaining JFK Assassination Files

**Washington, D.C.** – Former President Donald Trump announced Monday that his administration will release all remaining government files related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy on Tuesday. Speaking at the Kennedy Center, Trump declared the release of the documents, stating, “Tomorrow, we are announcing and giving all of the Kennedy files.”

This announcement fulfills an executive order Trump signed in January 2024, calling for the declassification of documents related to the JFK assassination, as well as the assassinations of Robert F. Kennedy and Martin Luther King Jr. While previous releases have made public tens of thousands of records, thousands remained withheld due to national security concerns. Trump asserted that “we’re not going to redact anything,” indicating a complete release of the remaining materials.

The sheer volume of documents is significant. Trump hinted at the extensive nature of the release, stating, “We have a tremendous amount of paper, you’ve got a lot of reading.” He attributed the compilation of the released documents to his Director of National Intelligence, referencing the effort as something that “people have been waiting for decades for.”

The Warren Commission concluded that Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone in the assassination of President Kennedy in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963. However, this conclusion has not silenced persistent conspiracy theories surrounding the event, fueled in part by the slow release of government documents. The release of these final files is expected to reignite public interest and speculation surrounding this pivotal moment in American history. The National Archives previously stated that 97 percent of the estimated five million pages of Kennedy records had already been made public.
