**Bengaluru, March 18, 2025** – The Karnataka Legislative Assembly descended into chaos on Monday following remarks made by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). The CM’s comments, made during his reply to the Governor’s address, sparked outrage among BJP members who accused him of making inappropriate allegations against the RSS within the Assembly.

Leader of the Opposition R. Ashok challenged the Chief Minister to repeat the remarks publicly, while BJP MLA C.N. Ashwath Narayan criticized the remarks as unbefitting of the CM’s position. Despite requests to expunge the remarks or withdraw them, Siddaramaiah refused, maintaining that his statements were neither unparliamentary nor untrue.
