Tue Mar 18 02:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Rain Delays Toss in Pakistan vs. New Zealand T20 Match

**Dunedin, New Zealand:** The second T20 match between Pakistan and New Zealand in their five-match series has been delayed due to persistent rain. The toss has yet to take place at the University Oval in Dunedin.

Pakistan, led by Salman Aga, will be hoping for a significant improvement after a disastrous first match which saw them bowled out for a paltry 91 runs. New Zealand, meanwhile, benefitted from strong bowling performances from Kyle Jamieson and Jacob Duffy (seven wickets between them) in the first match, followed by impressive batting from Tim Seifert, Finn Allen, and Tim Robinson. The absence of several key New Zealand players due to IPL commitments hasn’t hampered their early success.

Following a period of rain, ground covers have been removed and inspections are underway. The next inspection is scheduled for 7 pm local time. The women’s match earlier in the day was also cancelled due to the inclement weather. Fans are advised to stay tuned for further updates.
