**PALAKKAD, March 18, 2025** – Police in Palakkad, Kerala have arrested a man in connection with the stabbing of a Shiv Sena district secretary. Vivek, the district secretary from Meetna, was attacked on Monday in front of a restaurant in East Ottappalam. The arrested suspect, Faisal from Kayarampara, is believed to have been involved in a prior altercation with Vivek during the Chinakkathoor Pooram festival a few days earlier. Police are investigating the stabbing as a possible fallout from that earlier conflict.
