**Mumbai, India** – Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled the XUV700 Ebony Edition, a stylish blacked-out version of its popular SUV. Priced starting at ₹19.64 lakh, the Ebony Edition follows a similar design to the Black Edition launched in Australia and New Zealand.

The standout feature is its all-black exterior, including black 18-inch wheels and blacked-out chrome accents. Only the skid plate retains a silver finish. Inside, the cabin ditches the standard white interior for an all-black theme.

Available in AX7 and AX7L variants with front-wheel drive (FWD) only, the Ebony Edition offers a choice of 2.0-litre petrol (197bhp, 380Nm) and 2.2-litre diesel (182bhp, 420Nm) engines, both paired with six-speed manual or automatic transmissions.

Feature-wise, the AX7 boasts Level 2 ADAS, TPMS, a powered driver’s seat with memory, rain-sensing wipers, and dual-zone climate control. The AX7L adds features such as a blind spot monitor, 360-degree camera, knee airbags, wireless charger, and ventilated seats.

The Ebony Edition commands a ₹15,000 premium over its standard counterparts. Prices range from ₹19.64 lakh for the AX7 petrol manual to ₹24.14 lakh for the top-spec AX7L diesel automatic. Mahindra joins other automakers like Hyundai, Kia, Tata, Renault, Honda, and Maruti in offering a blacked-out special edition model.
