**Mumbai, India** – Mahindra & Mahindra has unveiled a stylish new limited edition of its popular XUV700 SUV: the Ebony Edition. Priced starting at ₹19.64 lakh (ex-showroom), this special edition builds upon the top-spec AX7 and AX7 L trims, offering a range of cosmetic upgrades without altering the vehicle’s performance.

The Ebony Edition boasts a striking Stealth Black exterior, replacing the standard Napoli black. This dark theme extends to the grille, ORVMs (outside rearview mirrors), and 18-inch alloy wheels, complemented by silver front and rear skid plates. Inside, the cabin receives a dramatic makeover with a predominantly black interior, featuring black leatherette seats with contrast stitching, a black dashboard, and dark chrome accents on the AC vents and steering wheel. While the roof liner remains light grey, the overall effect is a sophisticated and sportier look.

Available only in a seven-seat configuration, the Ebony Edition retains the XUV700’s impressive feature set, including a 12-speaker Sony sound system, powered and ventilated front seats, a wireless charger, and a panoramic sunroof. Mahindra has also added rear seat-belt reminders as a standard feature across all XUV700 variants, including the Ebony Edition.

Mechanically, the Ebony Edition remains unchanged, offering the choice of a 2.0-litre petrol or a 2.2-litre diesel mHawk engine, paired with either manual or automatic transmission options. While Mahindra plans to keep production limited, no specific number has been announced. The Ebony Edition represents a stylish and exclusive upgrade for discerning XUV700 buyers.
