**Bengaluru, March 18, 2025** – Bidar Airport, which suspended commercial operations over a year ago due to low passenger numbers, is set to restart flights on April 15th. Star Air will resume daily service between Bidar and Bengaluru. The airline will offer one morning flight departing Bengaluru at 7:45 AM, arriving in Bidar at 9:00 AM, and a return flight leaving Bidar at 9:30 AM and reaching Bengaluru at 10:45 AM.
The airport, which launched commercial flights under the UDAN scheme in 2020, ceased operations in December 2023. Owned by the Indian Air Force, its civilian operations are managed by GMR Hyderabad International Airport Ltd. under a concession agreement signed in 2020.
