**VISAKHAPATNAM, March 18, 2025** – The Visakhapatnam Metropolitan Region Development Authority (VMRDA) has reported significant progress in addressing public grievances and announced several new projects for the city. VMRDA Chairman Pranav Gopal stated that nearly half (59 out of 122) of the complaints received during the bi-weekly Praja Darbar have been resolved.
Upcoming projects include the inauguration of a multi-level car park and a helicopter museum. Improvements to existing tourist attractions are also underway, with plans to provide drinking water at the submarine and TU-142 museums through corporate social responsibility (CSR) funding. A new ₹2 crore adventure zone featuring sky cycling and zip lines, along with a glass bridge, will be added to Kailasagiri. These developments were announced by Mr. Gopal alongside Commissioner K.S. Viswanathan.
