Mon Mar 17 11:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Telangana Govt. to Distribute ₹6000 Crores to Unemployed Youth
**Hyderabad, March 28, 2024** – The Telangana government will provide financial assistance of ₹6,000 crores to 500,000 unemployed youth belonging to SC, ST, BC, and minority communities through the Rajiv Yuva Vikasam scheme, Deputy Chief Minister Batti Vikramarka announced.
Speaking at a press conference at the Chakali Ailamma Women’s University in Koti, Hyderabad, Vikramarka stated that the scheme aims to address the neglect of youth development under previous governments. Each beneficiary will receive up to ₹3 lakh.
Applications will be accepted online from March 15th to April 5th. Application scrutiny and beneficiary selection will take place from April 6th to May 31st. The government plans to distribute sanction letters to selected beneficiaries on June 2nd, Telangana Formation Day.
Vikramarka also announced ₹540 crores for the construction of the Chakali Ailamma University, calling it a project to develop one of the best universities in the country. He added that ₹15.5 crores will be allocated for the renovation of heritage buildings on campus, and an immediate release of ₹100 crores is planned for new construction.
