**NEW DELHI** – The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced that the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Post-Graduation (NEET-PG) 2025 will be held on June 15, 2025. The computer-based exam will be administered in two shifts: 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and 3:30 pm to 7:00 pm at various centers nationwide.
This crucial exam is the sole gateway for aspiring doctors seeking admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma programs in India. The NBEMS will soon release the official information bulletin on its website (natboard.edu.in), providing details on eligibility, syllabus, exam pattern, application procedures, and other important guidelines. Online applications are expected to open shortly thereafter. Candidates are urged to apply promptly to avoid last-minute complications.
The NEET-PG syllabus covers subjects outlined in the Graduate Medical Education Regulations, including Anatomy, Pathology, Pharmacology, and major clinical disciplines. Following the exam, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will manage the allocation of 50% of All India Quota (AIQ) seats, with state authorities handling the remaining 50%. A multi-round counselling process will determine seat allotments.
Crucially, all MBBS graduates must complete their internships by July 31, 2025, to be eligible for NEET-PG 2025.
