MUMBAI: Delhi Capitals have set a 150-run target for Mumbai Indians in the Women’s Premier League final. Batting first, Mumbai Indians managed 149/7 in their allotted 20 overs. Harmanpreet Kaur’s half-century was the highlight of their innings.
Mumbai got off to a poor start, losing their openers Yastika Bhatia (8) and Hayley Matthews (3) early, with the score on just 14. However, a crucial partnership between Harmanpreet Kaur and Nat Sciver-Brunt revived their innings, taking the score past 100. Brunt’s departure for 30, however, hampered the momentum.
