**Las Vegas, NV** – Argentine mixed martial arts fighter Kevin “El Chino” Vallejos will make his highly anticipated UFC debut this Saturday at UFC Las Vegas 104, facing off against South Korean fighter SeungWoo Choi. The event will be broadcast on ESPN+.
Vallejos, 23, successfully weighed in at 145.5 pounds on Friday, comfortably within the featherweight limit of 146 pounds. His opponent, Choi, also made weight at 146 pounds. Vallejos boasts an impressive 14-1 record with 10 knockouts, coming off a first-round victory over previously undefeated Cam Teague in September’s Dana White’s Contender Series. Choi, 32, enters the fight with an 11-7 record, 7 by knockout, but following a first-round loss to Steve Garcia in July.
This will be a significant moment for Argentine MMA, as Vallejos will become only the fifth Argentine fighter currently active in the UFC, joining Santiago Ponzinibbio, Francisco Prado, Esteban Rivovics, and Ailín Pérez.
The UFC Las Vegas 104 card features thirteen fights, with the main event pitting Marvin Vettori against Roman Dolidze. Vallejos’ fight against Choi is one of the many matchups expected to generate excitement throughout the event.
