**KOCHI, March 16, 2025** – A series of collisions involving five vehicles at Toshiba Junction near Kalamassery on Saturday left a motorbike rider and an autorickshaw passenger hospitalized with injuries. The incident, which occurred on Seaport-Airport Road, began when the driver of an electric car reportedly experienced a medical episode, causing the car to cross the median and strike a car and motorbike traveling in the opposite direction. An SUV and an autorickshaw then collided with the already-involved vehicles. The motorbike rider was thrown from their vehicle, sustaining injuries. Local residents assisted in moving some of the vehicles, while a crane was required to remove two of the four-wheeled vehicles.
