**Singrauli, MP/India** – Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL) announced the opening of 1,765 apprenticeship positions, inviting applications from eligible candidates. The recruitment drive, detailed in an official notification on nclcil.in, will close on March 18, 2025.

The application process is entirely online. A merit list of shortlisted candidates is expected to be released on March 20th or 21st, 2025. Shortlisted applicants will then be required to report for eligibility assessment and subsequent onboarding as Apprentice Trainees starting March 24, 2025, following a schedule to be released later.

Preference will be given to candidates who completed their qualifications at institutes or universities in Singrauli, Sidhi, and Rewa districts of Madhya Pradesh, and Mirzapur, Chandauli, and Sonbhadra districts of Uttar Pradesh.

The apprenticeship program offers stipends ranging from Rs 7,700 to Rs 9,000 per month depending on the qualification. Bachelor’s degree holders in Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, and Mining Engineering will receive Rs 9,000, while diploma and ITI holders will receive stipends ranging from Rs 7,700 to Rs 8,050. Applicants must be between 18 and 26 years of age. Individuals who have completed an apprenticeship, are currently undergoing apprenticeship training, or have a year or more of work experience are ineligible.
