**Amaravati, Andhra Pradesh (March 15, 2025)** – The Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple in Amaravati witnessed a spectacular “Srinivasa Kalyanam” (divine wedding ceremony) on Saturday, drawing an estimated 50,000 devotees. Organized by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the event marked the largest gathering at the temple since its completion in 2022.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu and his wife, along with Governor S. Abdul Nazeer, attended the ceremony, offering traditional “pattu vastrams” (silk clothes) to the deities on behalf of the state government. The event featured elaborate decorations, including four tonnes of flowers and nearly 5,000 floodlights illuminating a replica of the Tirumala temple.
