Fri Mar 14 15:41:20 UTC 2025: ## TiruppurTexathon 3.0 to Showcase Textile Innovation
**TIRUPPUR, INDIA (March 14, 2025)** – The third annual TiruppurTexathon hackathon will take place on March 17th and 18th at the NIFT TEA College of Knitwear Fashion. This two-day event, supported by NITI Aayog, Atal Innovation Mission, and MietY Startup Hub, will focus on advancements in textiles across agrotech, buildtech, geotech, and clothtech.
Forty teams, comprising students, researchers, startups, and innovators, will compete for prizes and funding. Student and research scholar winners will receive cash prizes, while winning startups will receive grants, incubation support at the Atal Incubation Centre for Textiles and Apparels, seed funding, mentorship, and other resources. StartupTN and Young Indians (Yi) Tiruppur Chapter are also providing support.
