**Hyderabad, March 15, 2025** – A temple accountant in Hyderabad was the victim of an acid attack on Wednesday evening. Narsingarao, the accountant for the Pedda Thota Bhu Lakshmi Temple in Saidabad, was attacked at approximately 8:30 p.m. while on temple premises. An unidentified assailant threw acid at him before fleeing the scene.
Local residents quickly alerted authorities, and Narsingarao was transported to a nearby hospital for treatment. Saidabad Police have launched an investigation, reviewing CCTV footage from the area to identify the suspect and determine the motive behind the attack. Police have assured the public that efforts to apprehend the assailant are underway.
