Sat Mar 15 03:00:00 UTC 2025: ## Rams Stampede Past Wolf Pack, Advance in Mountain West Tournament

**LAS VEGAS, NV –** Colorado State’s Nique Clifford delivered a dominant performance, scoring 25 points and grabbing 14 rebounds to lead the second-seeded Rams to a 67-59 victory over Nevada in the Mountain West Conference Tournament quarterfinals Thursday night. The win extends Colorado State’s winning streak to seven games.

Clifford’s strong first half, where he scored 14 points, helped the Rams take a lead they would not relinquish. Kyan Evans contributed 11 points, and Jaylen Crocker-Johnson added 10 for Colorado State (23-9).

Despite a valiant effort from Nevada’s Kobe Sanders (23 points, 7 rebounds) and Nick Davidson (22 points, 6 rebounds), the seventh-seeded Wolf Pack (17-16) couldn’t overcome the Rams’ consistent pressure. Tyler Rolison also chipped in a solid performance for Nevada with 10 points, 6 rebounds, and 3 steals.

Colorado State will face the winner of Friday’s Utah State-UNLV quarterfinal matchup in the tournament semifinals.
