**Imphal, Manipur –** Six Naga MLAs met with Manipur Governor Ajay Kumar Bhalla on Thursday to discuss the plight of ordinary citizens amidst the ongoing unrest in the state. The MLAs, including Awangbow Newmai, Khashim Vashum, Losii Dikho, Leishiyo Keishing, J. Kumo Sha, and Janghemlung Panmei, pledged their full cooperation in restoring peace and normalcy under the Governor’s leadership.
Separately, representatives from the Churachandpur Meitei United Committee, led by co-convenor Naba Ningthoujam, also met with Governor Bhalla. They presented a memorandum highlighting the difficulties faced by Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) from Churachandpur currently residing in relief camps. The Governor assured both the MLAs and the IDP representatives that their concerns would be addressed. The meetings underscore the ongoing efforts to address the humanitarian crisis and strive for peace in Manipur.
