Fri Mar 14 10:40:00 UTC 2025: ## SpaceX Crew-10 Launch Delayed to Friday Due to Weather and Technical Issues
**Cape Canaveral, FL** – NASA and SpaceX have announced a delay in the launch of the Crew-10 mission to the International Space Station (ISS). The launch, originally scheduled for Thursday, March 13th, has been postponed to no earlier than 7:03 p.m. EDT on Friday, March 14th.
The delay is due to a combination of factors. Unfavorable weather conditions, including high winds and precipitation along the Dragon spacecraft’s flight path, prompted mission managers to scrub Thursday’s attempt. Additionally, launch teams are working to resolve a hydraulic system issue with a ground support clamp arm on the Falcon 9 rocket at Launch Complex 39A at Kennedy Space Center.
The Crew-10 mission will carry NASA astronauts Anne McClain and Nichole Ayers, JAXA astronaut Takuya Onishi, and Roscosmos cosmonaut Kirill Peskov to the ISS. Live coverage of the launch will begin at 3 p.m. EDT on Friday on NASA+. Docking at the ISS is currently targeted for 11:30 p.m. EDT on Saturday, March 15th.
The delay of Crew-10 impacts the return of the current ISS crew, Crew-9. The departure of NASA astronauts Nick Hague, Suni Williams, and Butch Wilmore, along with Roscosmos cosmonaut Aleksandr Gorbunov, is now planned for no earlier than Wednesday, March 19th, weather permitting.
Crew-10 marks the tenth crew rotation mission under SpaceX’s Commercial Crew Program and their eleventh crewed flight to the ISS, including the Demo-2 test flight.
