Fri Mar 14 11:50:00 UTC 2025: ## Lizzo’s “Still Bad” Video Continues Dark, Dance-Filled Narrative From “Love in Real Life”

**NEW YORK** – Lizzo continues her musical comeback with the release of the music video for her new single, “Still Bad.” The visually striking video picks up where her February release, “Love in Real Life,” left off. The new video opens with Lizzo lying on the hood of the white car featured in the previous video’s ending scene. However, the idyllic morning quickly turns sinister as she’s attacked with red paint (or possibly blood) and finds herself in a mystical forest with the car ablaze.

The video follows Lizzo’s journey through this eerie woodland, pursued by creepy silver creatures. Mirroring the zombie dance sequence in “Love in Real Life,” Lizzo again finds herself breaking into a powerful dance routine with her pursuers, culminating in a final scene where she floats in a dark pond surrounded by the creatures.

The song itself is a defiant anthem about self-confidence following heartbreak, with lyrics such as, “I don’t need him, I need a drink/ I don’t know why life is so f—ed up lately/ But after everything/ I’m still surviving and I’m still bad, baby/ So, b—- I can’t complain.”

“Still Bad” and “Love in Real Life” are Lizzo’s first major releases since her 2022 album, *Special*, which reached No. 2 on the Billboard 200. The “Still Bad” video is now available for viewing online.
