**PHILADELPHIA, PA** – Corey McKeithan’s impressive 30-point performance led the 14th-seeded La Salle Explorers to a 78-71 upset victory over the 11th-seeded Massachusetts Minutemen in the first round of the Atlantic 10 Conference Tournament. McKeithan’s hot shooting, including a 5-for-8 performance from beyond the arc and a perfect 11-for-11 from the free-throw line, propelled La Salle (14-18) to the second round. Tunde Vahlberg Fasasi added 12 points to the Explorers’ winning effort. La Salle will now face the sixth-seeded Saint Joseph’s Hawks (20-11) later today.
