**Hyderabad, March 14:** Young Tollywood actor Kiran Abbavaram’s new romantic action thriller, *Dilruba*, is set to hit theaters today, coinciding with the Holi festival. At a press meet yesterday, Abbavaram revealed intriguing details about the film, which also stars Rukshar Dhillon.
The film, produced by Ravi, Jojo Jos, Rakesh Reddy, and Saregama, is directed by Vishwa Karun. Abbavaram described *Dilruba* as a film that blends fun with a compelling storyline, shifting gears after the first 30 minutes. He highlighted the diverse emotions explored in the film, including love, friendship, and father-daughter and father-son relationships. A unique element, he said, involves an ex-lover attempting to re-enter the protagonist’s life and impact his current relationship.
Abbavaram emphasized the film’s feel-good nature, stating that it’s suitable for family viewing, devoid of objectionable dialogues or scenes. He expressed satisfaction with the film’s fight sequences, particularly a challenging interval bang fight sequence filmed over eight days in Mangalore’s hot summer. He also praised the characters of Rukshar and Cathy.
The actor further revealed that he believes the film’s dialogues, penned by the director, evoke the style of renowned director Puri Jagannadh. While acknowledging that the film’s success depends on audience connection with the story, he expressed confidence in its commercial potential, hoping for a strong box office performance. He concluded by eagerly anticipating audience reactions to *Dilruba*.
