**Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh, March 14, 2025** – Andhra Pradesh Minister for Education and IT, Nara Lokesh, and his wife, Nara Brahmani, participated in the celestial wedding ceremony of Sri Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy at the historic Mangalagiri temple on Thursday, March 13, 2025. The event, part of the temple’s annual Brahmotsavam celebrations, saw the couple offering silk garments (pattu vastrams) to the deity on behalf of the state government.
The ceremony, which took place at midnight, included traditional Vedic chants, auspicious music (mangala vadyam), and various rituals performed by temple priests. These rituals included Vishwaksena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, and Maha Sankalpam, among others. Minister Lokesh and his wife received blessings from the priests following the ceremony.
A large number of devotees attended the sacred event. The Minister and his wife were given a grand welcome upon their arrival at the temple.
