PITHAPURAM, Andhra Pradesh – Deputy Chief Minister and Jana Sena Party (JSP) president K. Pawan Kalyan will unveil the party’s future roadmap at a major plenary session on Friday, March 14th. The event, held in Chitrada, Kakinada district, marks the party’s first plenary since its significant victory in the 2024 general elections. The JSP is a key ally of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA) in the state.
According to JSP political affairs committee chairman Nadendla Manohar, Mr. Kalyan’s address will outline the party’s future plans and its vision for Andhra Pradesh’s development. The plenary will focus on the experiences of youth, women, and farmers within the party. It will also celebrate the state’s cultural diversity and the Telugu language.
An estimated 500,000 supporters are expected to attend. Notably, the party has not invited any of its allies to the event. Authorities are taking extensive security measures, deploying 18,000 police personnel, 100 CCTV cameras, and six drones to ensure a peaceful gathering.
