Thu Mar 13 09:10:00 UTC 2025: ## Marvel Rivals Drops Surprise Mid-Season Patch with Balance Adjustments and New Skins

**New York, NY** – Marvel Rivals is releasing another patch on March 14th, just one week after its last update. This update, unlike previous ones, includes balance adjustments for several heroes in addition to the usual bug fixes and optimizations.

The patch will address several known issues, optimize performance for PC players, and introduce a new set of Twitch Drops offering Adam Warlock Galacta-themed cosmetics (Spray, Nameplate, and Costume). Two new skins will also debut on March 13th at 9 PM ET: Loki in Presidential Attire and Storm as the Goddess of Thunder wielding Mjolnir.

This marks the first time Marvel Rivals has implemented mid-season balance changes unrelated to bug fixes. Developers stated the goal is to maintain meta diversity ahead of Season 2, launching in April. Season 2 is also promised to bring new heroes and Team-Up abilities.

While the patch is welcomed, some players on Twitter continue to request buffs and nerfs for specific heroes, particularly Moon Knight and Spider-Man. Although some requested changes, like adjustments to Human Torch, have been addressed, a persistent Black Panther bug remains unfixed. Other community requests include cross-progression between console and PC and further PC optimization.

The March 14th patch will be deployed at 5 AM ET with no server downtime. Twitch Drops will be available starting March 13th at 9 PM ET.
