**Hyderabad, March 11:** The latest episode of the popular Telugu serial “Karthika Deepam 2” left viewers reeling after the reading of Shiva Narayan’s will. The revelation sparked conflict and emotional turmoil within the family.
Lawyer Vinayaka Rao read the will, revealing that Shiva Narayan bequeathed his entire estate to his son, Dasharath, his daughter-in-law, Sumitra, and their child. This shockingly excluded Jyothsna, Dasharath and Sumitra’s adopted daughter, who believed herself to be the heir. Jyothsna was devastated to learn that the will specified the “child” as the inheritor, implying that she would receive nothing should the biological child emerge.
Parijatham, Shiva Narayan’s daughter-in-law, also questioned the distribution. While Jyothsna grappled with her exclusion, Parijatham received a paltry consolation prize: a dairy farm with 50 cows and a monthly allowance of ₹20,000 from Dasharath. She expressed her dissatisfaction with this meager inheritance.
Adding to the intrigue, Lawyer Vinayaka Rao revealed the existence of a second, sealed will, to be opened after Shiva Narayan’s death. This further fueled speculation and anxiety among the family members.
Dasharath expressed surprise and questioned his father’s decision to exclude his own daughter, Kanchana. Sumitra also expressed concern about the apparent injustice towards the family members. Shiva Narayan justified his actions, stating his right to distribute his assets as he saw fit.
Meanwhile, Jyothsna’s secret about Deep’s true identity is threatened to be exposed. Parijatham hints at her knowledge of Deep’s existence, leaving Jyothsna on edge about her future and the security of her place in the family. The episode ended with Sridhar, Jyothsna’s former father-in-law, attempting to convince Karthik to sue his grandfather for his mother’s rightful share of the inheritance, which Karthik adamantly refuses. The cliffhanger leaves audiences eager to see how the family will navigate this complex situation and the impact of the second will.
