Thu Mar 13 13:37:42 UTC 2025: ## Telangana BJP Accuses Chief Minister of Misleading Statements on Lok Sabha Delimitation

**Hyderabad, March 13, 2025** – The Telangana BJP has accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of making misleading statements regarding the Centre’s delimitation of Lok Sabha constituencies. Party spokesperson N.V. Subash countered the Chief Minister’s opposition, asserting that the delimitation process, designed to improve representation and governance, will benefit Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, potentially increasing their parliamentary seats.

Subash claimed that contrary to Reddy’s concerns, the delimitation is expected to add seats to both states, citing an example of Tamil Nadu gaining three seats. He questioned the Chief Minister’s opposition, suggesting it stems from a misunderstanding of the process or alignment with the DMK.

The BJP spokesperson also refuted Reddy’s claims of the BJP’s weak presence in southern states. He highlighted the party’s presence in the Andhra Pradesh ruling coalition, its success in Telangana’s MLC and Lok Sabha elections, and its role as the main opposition in the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC). Subash further emphasized the BJP’s growing vote share in the region, surpassing even the AIADMK in recent elections. He urged Reddy to focus on fulfilling his electoral promises and prepare for the upcoming GHMC elections where the BJP anticipates a strong showing.
