Photographs taken on March 12 show two bins improperly positioned: one not returned to its designated bay, and another lacking a bay altogether. These obstructions, coupled with the partially completed pavement work on Arunachalam Street following the construction of a new stormwater drain, significantly narrow the already constricted roadway.
The problem is particularly acute during rush hour, when vehicles from both ends of Kalavai Street converge on the intersection. A local resident, who wished to remain anonymous, reported making numerous complaints to no avail.
