**Mexico City, March 13, 2025** – A new AI-powered chatbot, OlimpIA, is providing vital support to victims of online sexual violence across the globe. Developed in Mexico by AuraChat.Ai in collaboration with activists Olimpia Coral and Isabella Nuques, the WhatsApp-based platform offers legal advice and emotional support in dozens of languages.

Coral and Nuques, both survivors of digital sexual violence, inspired the creation of OlimpIA after facing significant hurdles in reporting their abuse to Mexican authorities more than a decade ago. Their experiences highlighted the urgent need for accessible support for victims of this pervasive crime. The UN estimates that 38% of women worldwide experience digital violence, a figure that may be significantly underreported.

Olimpia, initially launched last September, has dramatically increased its capacity, expanding from 100 to over 1,300 consultations per month. Beyond direct support, the platform aims to connect users with law enforcement and other relevant authorities, minimizing the risk of further abuse. The chatbot’s multilingual capabilities and accessibility through the widely used WhatsApp platform significantly broaden its reach and impact in the fight against online sexual violence.
