**Madurai, March 11, 2025** – Water levels in the Mullaperiyar and Vaigai dams remain stable, according to the latest readings. The Mullaperiyar dam registered a level of 114.25 feet on Tuesday, significantly below its maximum permissible level of 142 feet. The dam currently shows nil inflow and a discharge of 344 cusecs. Meanwhile, the Vaigai dam stands at 59.84 feet, compared to its full capacity of 71 feet, also with nil inflow and a discharge of 722 cusecs.
