Tue Mar 11 09:40:00 UTC 2025: ## Powerball Jackpot Soars to $335 Million After No Winner on Saturday

**NEW YORK** – The Powerball jackpot has climbed to a staggering $335 million for Monday night’s drawing, after no ticket matched all six numbers in Saturday’s lottery. A lucky player could take home a lump sum cash payment of $157.3 million.

While the top prize remains elusive, a Texas resident won a $1 million prize on Saturday, lottery officials reported. This follows a significant win earlier this year, when an Oregonian snagged a $328.5 million Powerball jackpot on January 18th.

Monday’s winning numbers were 17, 40, 47, 50, and 55, with a Powerball of 6. The next drawing will be held on Wednesday, March 12th.

Powerball tickets cost $2 and can be purchased at various retail locations, including convenience stores, gas stations, and grocery stores. Online ticket purchases are also available in select states through Jackpocket, the official digital lottery courier of the USA TODAY Network. Players choose five white balls (numbers 1-69) and one red Powerball (numbers 1-26). An optional $1 “Power Play” can multiply non-jackpot winnings.

The Powerball lottery is drawn three times a week – Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. If the jackpot remains unclaimed, the prize money continues to increase for subsequent drawings.
