**London, UK** – Fortnite’s highly anticipated update 34.10 has been released, bringing with it a host of new content following a scheduled server downtime. The update, available across all platforms (PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, Nintendo Switch, and Android), introduces several exciting additions.
Among the highlights are new skins featuring baseball superstar Shohei Ohtani (including a Samurai style) and a forthcoming emote based on the music of Kendrick Lamar. The update also delivers on previously announced collaborations, adding skins and items from the Invincible universe (Allen the Alien and Dupli-Kate). Players can also expect the arrival of the Outlaw Midas skins and questlines, along with a new Scorpion skin and Mythic item from Mortal Kombat.
New weapons and items included in the update are the Outlaw Shotgun, Rocket Drill, and Pump & Dump. Epic Games has also addressed several reported bugs, including issues with animation on the Batman Comic Book Cape, unlocking ranked cosmetics, campfire durability, vending machine menus, and HUD layout. Full patch notes are available on the Fortnite website.
The update, initially announced on X (formerly Twitter), caused a temporary period of server downtime from 8am to 10am GMT. Matchmaking was disabled shortly before the downtime commenced. The update focuses on the Fletcher Kane storyline, as teased in the promotional material released by Epic Games.
