Warangal, Telangana: The Collectors of Warangal and Hanumakonda districts, Dr. Satya Sarada and Pravinya, respectively, have urged the public to take advantage of the 25% discount offered by the state government on its Land Regularization Scheme (LRS). The officials made the appeal following a meeting with government department officials at the Kakatiya Urban Development Authority (KUDA) office in Hanumakonda on Monday.
The Collectors instructed officials to widely publicize the LRS discount. They clarified that the scheme covers plots registered before August 26, 2020, that were part of unapproved layouts. The scheme applies to both plot owners and those who have already applied for regularization. Questions raised by developers, plot owners, and document writers were also addressed during the meeting.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner Dr. Ashwini Tanaaji, KUDA CPO Ajit Reddy, In-charge City Planner Ravinder Radekar, and officials from the districts’ registration departments. The Collectors emphasized the government’s commitment to regularizing plots according to prescribed regulations.
