Mon Mar 10 11:30:00 UTC 2025: ## Tata Harrier EV Spotted with Redesigned Rear End Ahead of 2025 Launch

**Indore, India** – New spy shots of Tata Motors’ upcoming Harrier EV reveal a significant design update to the rear of the vehicle. While previous test mules closely resembled the current diesel Harrier, these latest images, captured near the NATRAX testing facility in Indore, show altered taillights and rear quarter panels. This suggests Tata is planning a more distinct visual differentiation between the EV and its internal combustion engine counterpart. While the front is expected to feature a closed-off grille typical of EVs, along with other styling cues similar to the current Harrier, the rear redesign is the most notable change.

The Harrier EV is anticipated to boast impressive specifications, including a claimed range of 500 km on a single charge and a dual-motor setup offering all-wheel drive (referred to by Tata as QWD – Quad Wheel Drive). While exact power figures remain undisclosed, sources suggest a torque output exceeding 500 Nm and horsepower exceeding 250 bhp, positioning it as a high-performance SUV.

Additional features expected on the Harrier EV include a panoramic sunroof, ADAS Level 2 driver-assistance systems, new alloy wheels, and a summon feature. Tata Motors aims to launch the Harrier EV in the first half of 2025. The company initially unveiled the Harrier EV concept at the Bharat Mobility Auto Expo in January 2025.
