The MLA inspected the construction site on Monday and reported satisfactory progress, attributing the expedited timeline to the government’s prioritization of the project due to significant traffic congestion on the Visakhapatnam-Raipur highway.
Sufficient funds have been allocated to ensure the bridge’s swift completion, Vijayachandra stated in a press release. He criticized the YSRCP, blaming them for previous delays and alleging misuse of project funds. To mitigate current traffic issues on the existing British-era bridge, the MLA announced that police personnel will be deployed around the clock to manage traffic flow.
