**Chennai, March 10, 2025** – SASTRA Law School emerged victorious at the 15th K.R. Ramamani Tax Moot Court competition held on Sunday. The competition, organized by The Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, School of Excellence, and Subbaraya Aiyar, Padmanabhan and Ramamani Advocates (SAPR), saw participation from nearly 25 law schools across the country.
The winning SASTRA team, comprising final-year students B. Jenitha Dharshini, K. Swaminathan, and B. Krishnaprasad, successfully argued a case centered on the violation of natural justice principles within Section 144C of the Income Tax Act. Their performance earned them a trophy and a ₹50,000 cash prize.
