**Paris, France – March 5, 2024** – Chess enthusiasts have a chance to compete in the prestigious Freestyle Chess Grand Slam in Paris! The qualifying rounds for the second Grand Slam event, taking place April 7-14, are happening this weekend.
Aspiring players can register until Friday, March 7th at 11:00 a.m. ET (17:00 CET/9:30 p.m. IST) to secure their spot. Registration is open to all players meeting specific criteria (detailed in the official rulebook). Those who previously registered in January are already eligible. Note that titled players are automatically qualified for the Swiss Stage and thus ineligible for the Open Qualifiers.
