**ALWAR, RAJASTHAN –** An 18-year-old girl was brutally attacked by a pack of at least ten stray dogs Friday evening in Alwar’s JK Nagar, leaving her with multiple bite wounds. A disturbing video shows Navya, the victim, being surrounded and attacked while walking and talking on her phone. The dogs relentlessly mauled her for 15-20 seconds before neighbours intervened and scared them away.
Navya described the terrifying ordeal, stating, “They surrounded me from all sides. I tried to push them away, but they pulled me down and kept attacking me. I am still in shock.” She sustained at least eight bites.
Local councillor Hetram Yadav expressed outrage at the lack of response from the municipal corporation despite repeated complaints about the growing stray dog problem. “We have complained multiple times, but no action has been taken,” Yadav stated, warning that “if the problem is not resolved soon, more serious incidents may occur.” He urged the authorities to take immediate action to address the escalating threat posed by the unchecked stray dog population.
