**Atlanta, GA** – The Overtime Elite (OTE) championship series tips off Friday, featuring a quartet of players with strong ties to the University of South Carolina Gamecocks basketball program. Eli Ellis and Hayden Assemian, both incoming freshmen for the Gamecocks, will lead the YNG Dreamerz against the City Reapers in a best-of-five series. Adding to the Gamecock connection, Isaac Ellis (Eli’s brother) and Kohl Rosario, both 2026 recruiting targets for South Carolina, also play for the YNG Dreamerz.

Two-time OTE MVP Eli Ellis, the league’s all-time leading scorer, and Assemian, the former Powdersville High School star, will aim to secure a championship before joining the Gamecocks next season. Isaac Ellis and Rosario, both highly touted prospects, will look to impress the South Carolina coaching staff during the high-stakes series.

The championship series begins Friday, March 7th, and Saturday, March 8th at 7:00 p.m. ET on Amazon Prime. Games three and four (if necessary) will be on YouTube at 7:00 p.m. ET on March 13th and 14th, respectively. A potential game five will be played Sunday, March 16th at 3:00 p.m. ET on YouTube. All games will be streamed live. The series pits the league’s top two teams against each other in a highly anticipated showdown.
