**Tiruchi, March 9, 2025** – Three sovereigns of gold jewellery were recovered and returned to their owner thanks to the diligent efforts of Tiruchi Corporation sanitation workers. N.S. Suresh Kasi Raj, a 56-year-old engineer, accidentally discarded his gold chain and rings in the trash after removing them before bed. Realizing his mistake, he raced to the Ariyamangalam dump where sanitation workers A. Pandi Selvi and R. Seetha, along with van driver P. Arunagiri, painstakingly searched through the garbage. They successfully recovered the jewellery and returned it to a relieved Mr. Raj. Mr. Raj praised the workers’ dedication, highlighting the speed of their recovery which prevented the jewellery from being lost permanently. Tiruchi Corporation Commissioner V. Saravanan also commended the sanitation workers for their honesty and hard work.
