**Phoenix, AZ** – NASCAR fans are in for a treat this weekend as the Xfinity and Cup Series converge on Phoenix Raceway for a doubleheader of racing action. Saturday will see the Xfinity Series take center stage, with practice kicking off at 11:30 a.m. ET, followed by qualifying at 12:35 p.m. ET. The 200-lap race is scheduled for 5 p.m. ET, with defending winner Chandler Smith absent from this year’s competition.
The Cup Series will then get its turn, with a 45-minute practice session at 2 p.m. ET leading into qualifying at 3:05 p.m. ET. Sunday will feature the main Cup Series race. This weekend also marks the first annual race weekend at the Phoenix Raceway for both series.
