**Bengaluru, March 8, 2025** – CMR University, in collaboration with the Institute of Product Leadership (IPL), has launched a groundbreaking MBA in Technology Management. This program, a first of its kind in India, is designed to equip professionals with the skills needed to thrive in the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-first, technology-first, and digital-first businesses.
According to Jayadeep K.R. Reddy, Pro-Chancellor of CMR University and CEO of CMR group of Institutions, the program aims to produce “future-ready professionals” for the dynamic tech industry. The need for this program stems from the evolution of management itself, moving beyond traditional human resource management to encompass digital resources and innovation-driven growth. Traditional MBA programs, according to Sai Satish Vedam, Chief Executive and Product Officer at IPL, have failed to address this gap. The new program will focus on developing “techno-managers” capable of leading AI strategies and navigating digital disruptions.
