**Kozhikode, March 8, 2025** – A 50-year-old autorickshaw driver, Ajith Kumar, was found dead in a canal at Vadakara in Kozhikode district on Saturday. Police launched a search after his abandoned vehicle was discovered around 8 a.m., following reports that he had left his home around 6 a.m. With the assistance of the Fire and Rescue Service, Kumar’s body was recovered and transported to the Vadakara district hospital. An investigation into the cause of death is underway.
