The blaze, which started at 12:35 am, involved a heavily leaking Mahanagar Gas Limited pipeline located in the middle of a road near Sher-E-Punjab society. Fire officials classified the incident as a level-one fire, contained to the two vehicles. Emergency services responded swiftly, extinguishing the fire by 1:34 am.
