**Kurnool, March 8, 2025** – Kurnool Municipal Corporation Commissioner S. Ravindra Babu expressed satisfaction with the performance of the city’s Anna Canteens, citing high public approval ratings. Following a surprise inspection of three canteens on Saturday, Mr. Babu interacted with patrons and staff, emphasizing the importance of maintaining food quality, cleanliness, and efficient management.
The Commissioner highlighted the government’s initiative to provide affordable and quality meals to the city’s poor, stating that the canteens offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner comparable to hotel-quality food. He revealed that 93.18% of those who have used the canteens expressed satisfaction. Since their launch five months ago, the five Anna Canteens in Kurnool have served over 720,000 meals. Mr. Babu urged canteen management to proactively address any issues and ensure a positive experience for all patrons.
