**Bengaluru, March 8, 2025** – To commemorate the 50th birth anniversary of renowned Kannada film actor Puneeth Rajkumar, the Karnataka Circle of the Department of Posts, in partnership with Urvi Fragrances, will release a special picture postcard on Monday.
The postcard features a portrait of Rajkumar, affectionately known as “Appu,” alongside a design celebrating his significant contributions to cinema. Rajkumar, lauded for his acting, singing, producing, and philanthropic endeavors, left a lasting mark on Indian cinema and society.
A set of five postcards will be initially available for purchase at the Philatelic Bureau in Bengaluru’s General Post Office. They will subsequently be available at other Philatelic Bureaus across the state, including Mangaluru, Belagavi, and Mysuru. This release serves as a fitting tribute to the legacy of the beloved actor.
