**London, UK** – The successful action thriller series “Has Fallen,” a spin-off of the popular film franchise, has been renewed for a second season, Canal+ CEO Maxime Saada announced today. The news was revealed alongside Canal+’s preliminary 2024 financial results, which showed strong performance despite a recent share price dip.
Saada cited the first season, “Paris Has Fallen,” as a “smashing success” across Canal+ territories and streaming platforms Amazon Prime (UK) and Hulu (US). Production on the second season is currently underway in the UK.
While details about the new season remain scarce, the first season, a Canal+ original produced by Studiocanal, Urban Myth Films, Millennium Media, G-BASE, and Eclectic Pictures, followed a French protection officer and an MI6 operative as they investigated a terror plot in Paris.
