Bengaluru, March 8, 2025 – A 35-year-old regional head of sales at a private bank, Vivek Samdarshi, died on Friday after attempting suicide at his Talaghattapura residence. His wife, Monika, reported to police that she suspected workplace harassment may have contributed to his actions. Police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating, analyzing Samdarshi’s phone and laptop for clues.
In a separate incident, a 45-year-old employee of a private firm in J.P. Nagar 7th Phase attempted suicide on Saturday after a dispute with his seniors. Nandish, who had been transferred to the Devanahalli branch and claimed unpaid salary, sustained multiple fractures following his fall from his office building. He is currently hospitalized. Police are investigating both incidents.
